Up for consideration is a brand new Neumann IC3/25 premium mic cable for U87Ai as well as other studio or location mics. This is an XLR to XLR 25' mic cable, with Neutrik connectors, and is the cable Neumann ships as part of their U87Ai Set Z bundle. The cable itself is labeled "Neumann" every few feet, and is slightly thinner than normal mic cables, but it comes in handy on remotes, as it is not as bulky or visible conspicuous, and looks great on remotes with SDC spots or main pairs. The cable handles easily, trains easily, and even has some anecdotal testimonials for enhanced RF rejection:  

"My studio uses all Mogami Gold Studio Cables. For some reason my Neumann U87 was picking up some radio frequencies. Something with the grounding of the cables etc., created this antenna-like setup. I read online that the Neumann cable would get rid of this, and it seemed to work. No frequencies picked up yet!"
