Pre-War Guitar Co. guitars are simply legendary.
Some say they are the most faithful replicas of actual prewar Martins. This one undoubtably holds up to all expectations. It's bold, loud and has the warm "thud" we all look for in vintage guitars. Plus, it has mojo all over it! In my opinion, the higher distress levels really nail the authentic old character and really makes you feel like you're playing a piece of history. This is a 000 Mahagony with a distress level 2.
Fretboard taper : Vintage
Neck profile : Modern "V" neck shape (1 11/16" nut)
Scale length : 24.9" (000 style) Top wood : Adirtondack Spruce
Neck : Mahagony
Headplate : Granadillo
Fretboard : Ebony
Bridge : Ebony
But and Saddle : Bone
It has a strap button installed and comes with the classic Harptone case.
The only mod is that it used to hold a pickup and so the endpin has been slightly enlarged. There is no pickup anymore and a perfect a-grade fitting ebony endpin has been carefully replaced.
Selling only to move on to a different sound, absolutely nothing to do with this instrument.
