Beautiful St. George classical from the 1960's Their are some interesting facts on St George guitars on Torch's Vintage Guitar site. According to the site some St George guitars were made in Japan, although some were made in California. Per the site St George guitars were made from 63-67 by Shiiro .A few were made by a master luthier Paul Barth from Riverside, California using high quality woods. The site only mentions electrics and basses though, unknown about acoustics.

Solid spruce top,

Flame maple bookmatched back
Flame maple sides and neck
Steel reinforced neck
