Here we have a beautiful Koll Super Glide Ulmighty. This one was hand built by Koll himself. The guitar is an absolute dream to play. I just don't have the time to play it anymore as priorities have changed. Its a shame to have it sit in the case so I am hoping to find it a happy new home. You can save yourself the 12-18 month build time if this meets your needs. Now to the specs.
The body is made of bound semi hallow mahogany with a maple flame top. The flaming is very reactive to the light and angle you look at it from. The neck is a very ver dark rosewood, bound as the body is and with peariod inlays. The neck shape is a thin c shape similar to that of a modern telecaster or jazzmaster. I really liked the detail on the neck at the heal. The combo of the neck and body is a easily played and very resonate acoustic sound.
Electronically I had 3 Pete Biltoff Charle Christian pickups installed. They are very hot, easily driven while very controllable by the volume control. In the upper horn you can control each independantly via an on/off switches. The lower horn sports a master volume knob that is place ergonomically for easy access volume swells. I opted not to have any tone controls since for my tastes I derive my tone from my amp or pedal board so why add unneeded impedance. I've found that it really opens up the volume as well as the tone. If you don't feel that Saul or any other qualified luther would happily rectify your tone knob needs.
Thats all I the details I can think of that are noteworthy but feel free to hit me up.
