Vaccaro Comet 2002 Sunburst Aluminum Neck Kramer

I bought this guitar off of eBay circa 2005 or so. In the photos you will see two print outs from the eBay auction I purchased the guitar from. That seller claims this was the first Comet.

Vaccaros are rare enough, the Comets are very rare. I’ve only seen six online in photos. This one, the two that Kid Rock has, Lenny Kravitz’s, Stevie Salas’ and a metallic pink one.

Whoever made this guitar originally put the bridge posts in the incorrect spot. The guitar would not intonate. I did not have the finish redone when I had the posts moved. Please see the photos. A friend of mine who was a former Gibson custom shop luthier did that job for me. This guitar intonates and and plays great now.

Little to no fret wear.

There are three pin sized indentions in the finish on the top of this guitar. They’ve proven very hard to photograph and they are hard to see with the naked eye. I’ve circled one in yellow in these photos.

The chrome cover on the P90 has been scratched as can be seen in the photos.

Comes with the TKL bass case as shown in the photos.

I don’t like selling guitars online and I REALLY don’t like shipping guitars. Rest assured I will pack this very well.
