The Vic Firth F1 Drum Stick is constructed using traditional Hickory wood with a shorter tapered neck and a medium round wood tip that covers a smaller surface area. This stick would make an excellent choice for players of Jazz, Fusion styles and more! 

The American Classic F1 stick's design includes a short taper which makes it naturally gives the player more power and durability at their fingertips with a front heavy feel that is often very desirable for certain playing styles.
