This amplifier needs no introduction, the MATAMP 1224 MKII is a handmade tone-wizard.
The name 1224 is derived from it's power tube switching capabilities. Using toggle switch you can tame this beast by using 1 or 2 valves in class A, or 2/4 valves in class AB, getting you from 50 watt to a mere 2.5 watt.
Sound-wise it is pure Matamp, Dopesmoker in a Head. A Les Paul tuned down to C running into this head will bring you straight into the riff-filled land.
And with the Master Volume and build-in Boost, you won't even need pedals for this.
