Overview
The Oscar Schmidt Banjolele is a unique four-stringed instrument combining a small banjo-type body with a fretted concert-size ukulele neck, reminiscent of the 1920s and 1930s. It produces the distinctive bright, twangy sound of a banjo while retaining the familiar tuning and playing style of a ukulele. The instrument is tuned to standard ukulele tuning: G-C-E-A.
