This cool set is inspired by the 1955 Esquire guitar owned by Mr. David Gilmour. 

David’s 1955 Esquire originally belonged to Seymour Duncan who gave/sold it to David around 1975-76. It already had its worn exterior, which led David to name it “The Workmate” after the Black and Decker work bench (Phil Taylor Q&A, davidgilmour.com, Dec 2007).
An Esquire differs from the Telecasters in that they don’t have the neck pickup, but Gilmour’s guitar has a custom fitted neck pickup, made and installed by Seymour Duncan (who then worked at Fender). This pickup was actually STRAT sized unit- our version is regular Tele neck size - for easy installation on any Telecaster pickguard.

#3 x 1" Round Head Wood Screws - this is the way Fender did it back in the day;
Wood mounting screws are screwed to the body/ wood - under the pickguard - and these require a larger hole in the pickup - so we will re-drill the mounting holes in the pickup to fit the wood screws.

#4 - 40UNC Phillips Pan Head Pickguard Screws
Pickguard screws are used for mounting the pickup on the pickguard - this way the pickup height can be adjusted without removing the pickguard.

Neck Pickup – Strat Tone in a Tele Neck Format

Designed to deliver authentic Stratocaster-style clarity and sparkle in a Telecaster neck pickup size.

• Hand/scatter-wound using AWG 42 enamel wire, as found in vintage Stratocaster pickups
• Approx. DC resistance: 6.0 kΩ
• Vintage-spec black vulcanized fiberboard flatwork
• Vintage-style staggered and beveled Alnico V magnets
• Wax potted for improved stability and reduced microphonics
• Black and white cloth-covered push-back lead wire
• Coil protected with traditional black paper pickup tape
• South Up magnetic polarity / CW winding direction

These 2 pickups are R.W.R.P - they will be hum cancelling when both pickups are active.

We use Croatia post Air Mail Priority Registered shipping service, usually 1-2 weeks to EU and 2-4 weeks abroad/overseas - with most parcels being delivered by your local post office.

Return & Refund Policy;

• New Items: 14 days from delivery
• Used or vintage items: 7 days form delivery

Items must be returned in their original condition with no signs of use. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.

Custom orders are non‑returnable and not eligible for a refund unless not as described.

Refunds are issued to the buyer’s original payment method, minus shipping costs (unless not as desribed).

A 10% restocking fee will also be withheld if a refund is requested after the item has been shipped, as allowed by Reverb’s policies.
