The M14 is a great all-Mahogany single cone 14 fretter. A classic light brown plain Mahogany with satin finish shows the depth of the wonderful wood grain, and it has a cool plain dark brown binding. Nickel plated sieve coverplate and tailpiece.
The neck has the same matching finish and wood, and a peghead (solid) headstock with a black overlay with the National Shield decal. Plain Ebony fingerboard, which is unbound, with Mother of Pearl fingerboard dot inlays.
A real workhorse, an unadorned wood bodied classic National with a barking and sweet warm tone and the beautiful resophonic reverberation of the ages.
