HHG drums PRE-SALE 14x7 Zebrawood/cherry Stave Snare 2020 Natural Satin Lacquer

This is a pre-sale listing for this 14 x 7 hhg shell. If you buy it today, we will be dressing it up with your choice of hardware, and will be sending it off to you as a completed, ready to play snare drum!

This shell is a 14x7 zebrawood and cherrywood solid wood stave shell.

The mixture of these two species should make for an incredibly articulate and musical snare drum. Zebrawood is a fantastic tonewood for snare drums all on its own, but blended with the softer cherry, it should make for a drum with Punchy low-end warmth of the cherry, balanced by the dense and hard zebrawood.

Feel free to let us know what  color Hardware you would like us to put on the drum. We can do gold, chrome, or black nickel.

The price of this listening includes our standard hhg single point lugs, 2.3 mm triple flanged hoops, a vintage style strainer, diecast butt plate, diecast air vent, diecast antique silver hhg badge, Evans drum heads, and pure sound snare wires. If you would like to substitute any of that for some specific Hardware of your choosing, feel free to shoot us a message, though this may increase the price.

This shell has a silky satin lacquer finish. Its pictured with the tape and masking paper from the spraybooth on the inside, of course we will remove it, and we'll apply our standard wax and oil mixture to the interior.

You can choose the bearing edges as well if you have something specific in mind, otherwise we will cut our standard Edge which consists of a 1/8 inch radius on that outside cut, and a 45 degree inside cut.

As with all of our drums and listings shown, when you place an order with HHG Drums, your new instrument will be hand-crafted in house, from scratch. The drum shown in the pictures was built for a customer, and now resides with them. We would love to build one for you!
