About This Listing

1971 Fender Jazz Bass

Serial number: 335181

Production year: 1971 or 1972 Made in Fullerton, USA

Because of my health issues I'm selling my collections..if your device has adobe-flash visit my web site
This Jazz bass is the most comfortable..very light weight and the neck..wow the neck feels thin and smooth and just wonderful  "feel"...this is absolutely  my favorite bass..and it is a work of art..my brother was a world class artist..he made the art work for the pickguard...yes the bass has been re-fin'd by world famous LAY'S GUITAR SHOP by Dan & Joel Shinn luthiers...
THIS BASS is for the discerning player and or collector.
ALL ORIGINAL other than refin'd in mid 1980's..I have owned this bass for more than 40 years !!!

The mainstay of the Bronco Bob bass collection is a custom designed bass with features and colors selected by Bronco Bob and modeled after Fender’s Jazz Bass. This 1971Fender Jazz Bass features the contrasting black on maple block inlays that are the inspiration for the some of the custom bass neck designs.

For over 50 years, Fender basses have been the standard by which other basses are judged. The Jazz Bass, introduced in 1960 as the “deluxe model”, was the first Fender bass to feature an offset waist body, ultra slim fast action neck, full range bi-pole pickups and a two pickup design. Although coupled as a mate to the Jazzmaster model electric guitar, the Jazz Bass was released at the same time as the Jaguar model guitar. THIS BASS HAS BEEN INSPECTED & ELECTRONICS TESTED 08/-5/2020 EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT SHOULD

SERIAL NUMBER 335181...THIS AWESOME BASS HAS BEEN INSPECTED AND ELECTRONICS TESTED 08/05/2020..EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT SHOULD..by world renown Lay's Guitar Shop..buy with confidence...no surprises...

The 1971 Jazz Bass features a four-bolt neck and natural ash body with a contrasting black bound maple neck with black block inlays. This example has been refinished in a dark blue acrylic lacquer with a vari-colour pick
guard. Both bridge and pickup covers are included.

this bass has been in its hard shell case for may many many years..it does need a good cleaning and polishing..the surface "crud-stuff" on the chrome covers are easy to clean up...if the buyer wants me to clean I will do so, however I have found many collectors prefer to do their own cleaning..what ever you prefer...//Bob
