The USA 44-60 Custom Flamed Redwood Active 4-string Jazz bass is the first of it's kind. This is the only one made Left Hand! Custom 44-60 Jazz Bass with an Ash body and a Flamed Redwood custom top. This top is absolutely stunning and the bass is ultra light. These are not laminates but thick wood tops. Notice the top has no pick guard and no control plate. This is to not cover up the premium redwood. Midlothian Music hand picks the wood for these basses and are truly the best available. This model has the slim premium rosewood fingerboard with some cool color in the grain, and the 1.5" nut width you'd expect from a 60's Jazz Bass. This bass has a great custom look and possible collectable. Great balance and comfortable feel. Smooth tone from the Lakland hand-wound single coil pickups. Black Lakland hardshell case included.
