This Zon Sonus 8 is a unique take on a typical bass with the addition of 4 extra strings that allows for a wide range of tuning and sonic options. It features a composite neck and comes equipped with two Bartolini J-style pickups with a 9V active system. It is in good shape overall with typical play wear and plays well even though the neck relief is slightly more than typically desired. • Neck relief seems a bit more than typically desired (1/32" @ 8th fret) and cannot be adjusted due to lack of a truss rod. Still plays fine and string height is ok, just requires a little more effort.
