"Danish" Pete Honore Signed Purple Squier FSR Bullet Telecaster Anderton's Beyond Rare! 1 of 500

You are looking at what is probably the rarest modern Squier available, a 2019 Squier Bullet FSR Telecaster that was part of the second run of 250 made as a special order for Anderton's of the UK as a response to the worldwide internet phenomenon known as "Danish" Pete's Purple Tele.

Pete's real Tele is a Custom Shop relic model, and seems to have magical properties, regarded by nearly everyone who touches it as one of the best guitars they've ever played. It became an online sensation, sparking copies, T-shirts, Purple Pete Victory amps, boutique pedals...the list goes on. It might be more recognizable then Pete himself.

Fender responded to the Purple Tele's online popularity by issuing similar Road Worn Series Tele's, which evaporated, then eventually gave in to the public pressure and agreed to produce a special run for Anderton's exclusively. Those sold overnight, and a second order was negotiated. No third has been issued since I purchased this one, and I cannot speak to if they will. I suspect the next line is why.

The purple on this Tele is sure to be a huge seller for both Squier and Fender. To say purple is classy isn't common, but this purple is simply stunningly classy! Finish quality seems to be higher than a typical Squier, maybe a little extra attention was given because it is SO beautiful. Hands down, the prettiest Squier I've ever laid eyes on, it is truly a stunning color, and flawless paint job.

This was ordered about six months ago, and shipped at considerable cost to the United States. Nearly more than the guitar itself. Not sure how many made it over the pond, but you can be pretty sure your buddy down the street, block, or the next state won't have one. This ain't Hello Kitty.

The rest is pretty much standard FSR Bullet. I wouldn't touch a thing. It sounds and plays like a Telecaster. Normally I would do a full setup, fret polish, etc, but I felt this one should be untouched. It has some slightly scratchy frets, but should clean up just fine or simply wear in. No fret sprout I can detect, nice and straight. Electronics all check out, it's new. All hangtags and wrenches that were included will be sent. No case, no gig bag.

Includes a pickguard personally signed by Pete, which was placed on the guitar for pictures, but never installed. Packed in its original Squier box, inside another Anderton's box, as shipped from the UK. Paperwork is important for collector guitars, and I will also provide all the invoices and sales documentation. Shipping will be done thru Reverb, with insurance and signature required.

I ALWAYS photograph my sales as they go into the box to ensure that it is in the condition stated at time of shipping. It also speeds the process greatly if a claim is needed. I cannot control shipping companies or fate, so I make sure everything is well documented.
