Summary: This is a radically shaped bass with an aluminum neck and dynamite sounding DiMarzio humbuckers. It has tons of sustain, lots of tonal options, a solid “Badass bridge”, jet black finish, excellent playability and ships in the original hard-shell case!
Body: They called this body shape “type 1” and it has a jet black finish with radical curves.
Neck: The neck is aluminum with wood inserts, tuning fork headstock, Ebonol fretboard, pearl dots, 24 frets, Schaller tuners, 32” scale length and 1 ½” nut width.
Pickups/Hardware: This vintage bass has 2 passive DiMarzio humbuckers, 2 volumes, 1 tone, 2 coil splitting toggles and a 3-way switch. This bass has a solid Badass bridge and Schaller tuners.
Cosmetics: The finish is in great shape with just a small amount of pick scratching and seam creasing. The back of the guitar has a few scratches and but overall this guitar is in fantastic shape and looks awesome! The frets are also in fine shape with tons of height and lots of life left in them.
Playability: Our in-house luthier has set this guitar up with low action and it plays and sounds fabulous. The neck has a really nice D shaped profile and is very comfortable to navigate. All notes ring out clear with tons of sustain and clarity.
