Vintage 1984 Fender Jazz Bass Special White Pearl Finish Made in Japan

What makes this bass special: A super sleek, great playing bass with a cool vibe and pleasing, resonant tone. The white pearl finish has aged nicely over the years, giving it a slightly yellow hue. It’s been professionally setup and intonated by our in-house luthier, so it plays and sounds fantastic.

Cosmetic condition: Great overall condition, with some surface and playwear scratches throughout, a small scratch that penetrates the finish behind the bridge, some light scuffing on top of the headstock, and one notable chip in the finish on the bass side of the upper bout. The back cover for the electronics has been replaced, and the jack plate appears to be unoriginal.

Body: Contoured double cutaway alder body in white pearl finish. Black chrome bridge with individually adjustable saddles.

Weight: 9lb, 11oz

Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with skunk stripe, white side dots, and white dot inlays. Rosewood fingerboard is in great shape, and frets have a ton of life left in them. Headstock sports a black overlay and black open gear tuners in perfect working order. 1 1/2' nut width, 34” scale length. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.

Electronics: Alnico angled pickup in the neck position and alnico single coil in the bridge position. 3-way black tipped pickup selector switch with black “F” stamped tophat knobs, 2x volume, 1x tone.

Case: Original hard shell case included.
