Monster, the lead guitarist of Mayday has been with the band since its establishment in 1999. The artist has been a long time Gibson guitar fan and he dreamt to own a Gibson when he was in College. Monster now owns a wide collection of Gibson guitars and has been using Gibson guitars in his performances and recording sessions. He expressed desire to be the ambassador of Gibson and Chinese Music culture to overseas audience.
Monster visited the Nashville based Custom shop division by special invitation from Gibson, the leading electronic and lifestyle brand where he was shown how a Custom made model was built and he shares his ideas of the bespoke Monster Limited Run Les Paul model.
“It is honored to have this limited run Gibson model, it will be my companion and inspire my music journey.” Monster said.
The Custom made guitar is built based on the famous Les Paul 1960 cutaway shape, it bears a special Unicorn logo designed by Monster, each guitar parts is selected by him through discussion with the experts at the Custom shop. The limited run edition also has a leather certificate cover designed by the artist.
