Ludwig PRE-SERIAL BLUE OYSTER PEARL 1963 SET

1963 LUDWIG THREE PIECE BLUE OYSTER PEARL DRUM SET . This entire Ludwig Drum set  is in excellent shape.  The 12" tom is serial number 486xx with the Ludwig white interior, and has a red felt baseball bat muffler.. The 16" floor tom is a PRE-SERIAL NUMBER with a Ludwig white interior and also has the red felt baseball bat  muffler. . And lastly, the 22" bass drum, again has a PRE-SERIAL NUMBER with a Ludwig white interior. This is a complete set.   Please notice that the tom mount is a early Ludwig clip on.  All the chrome is very lightly pitted, if at all,  shape. All the drum heads are brand new Ludwig or Remo. All the bearing edges and seams seem to be in great shape . This drumset is not faded at all. THIS IS REALLY A NICE  SET OF A LUDWIG BLUE OYSTER PEARL DRUM SET- THAT IS NOT FADED AND A GREAT PLAYER SET.

Just a note to buyers. I have about 30-45 sets of Ludwig Drums and snares…….pretty much all 1960’s era, that I will be listing over time. I have had the majority of these drums since I had my shop in Salt Lake from about mid 70’s to late 90’s (STOREFRONT) But also please keep in mind although I had a music store, I am not a drummer.   So, if you have questions please feel free to ask.

In conclusion, these drums are really beautiful. It’s really hard to find some in this condition, and hardly played. My old saying is “If you can find another drum set as nice or nicer, BUY IT”. They don’t come along often, especially now with all the bogus, modified, non original stuff nowadays. Thanks for looking.
