This is one of those instruments where the pictures really do the talking. This ultra-customized Ome Grand Artist is an absolute stunner not only in looks but also in sound. The order was put into Ome banjos in 1992 and completed in 1996. Some notable upgrades to this piece of art are extra fingerboard inlays of birds, flowers, and butterflies on top of the already ornate pattern they typically offer on the Grand Artist. The tuner buttons are all solid mother of pearl. There is a very rare Ottenger tailpiece on this banjo. All of the hardware is 24 karat gold plated. The gryphon carved heel has semi-precious stones inlayed in the eyes. This also features an ornately carved Flush-Fit Resonator that can be easily added or removed. A Schatten pickup is installed, and is easily removable if you're not looking to plug in. A nice Calton banjo case is included to add the highest quality of protection to the highest grade of banjo. Also included is a Colorado Case Company soft cover for the Calton banjo case.
