Simpson Sears 6 String Acoustic 1970 Made in Japan.This was an import to the
Canadian
Simpsons dept store that was amalgamated with Sears USA. I've owned this for 10 years the older fellow I bought this from said he purchased it new in 1970 from Simpson Sears. Guitar has some beautiful grained tone woods on this , mahogany sides,back and neck with a spruce top it has a very nice sound to it and plays exceptionally well.The action is a medium low could probably be lowered some more to suit your needs if desired,guitar has just had new strings added on.Cosmetically very nice looking it has one dent or ding in the upper bout close to where the neck joins (see pic) doesn't affect anything just cosmetic hard to notice area but it's there none the less. 39 inches overall 20 frets lots of wear left on them truss rod, neck is good and straight, original tuners work great tunes nice and stays in tune,cool pick guard with flowered design .Nice vintage guitar a" take anywhere" guitar to play and enjoy. No case but will be double boxed with care for shipping.
