Teisco / Kawai Hertiecaster – vintage 1960s 4-pickup Stratocaster guitar Japan Gitarre

This is a quite rare version of the japanese Stratocasters made by Teisco in the 1960s. This guitar type got sod in a german store called "Hertie", earning it the nickname "Hertiecaster". The 4 single coil pickup version was one of the more "expensive" instruments and is therefore quite rare to find.

The guitar is in top condition – it only got very few signs of wear and is nearly scratchless. The metalparts arent rusted at all and the tuners ared dried up and hold the tune nicely. The steel pickguard doesnt have much wear eighter and shines like new. The electronic is working fine and without any weird noices. All the pickups have a nice and loud output and the knobs and switches do, what they should.

The guitar got checked by a luthier, the fretboard got oiled and the frets got polished. The strings are new too. The neck is 100% straight, therefore the action is low, what makes it really comfortable to play.

The guitar is immediatly playable.
