Early 80's Guild X-79 Skyhawk Electric Guitar
Set Neck, Beautiful Used Condition!

PLEASE DO NOT mistake picture glare for flaws..  If you think your seeing something not mentioned in this listing, please ask!!

This guitar is in Very Good Used Condition for a 30+ year old guitar!   Definitely one of the nicest ones in this color that I have seen in a while.  We pictured everything the best that we could, so there will be no surprises with this sale..  Buy with confidence!

Please review all pics for the true cosmetic condition before and after reading this description.

Heres The Run Down:

This is a super nice looking all original Guild X-79 in Black Metal Flake.  There are no issues other than some extremely minor cosmetic flaws, but much better than you would expect of a 30+ year old guitar that is used.  There will be some minor dings, light scratching, and a few small chips (all pictured, so take a look)...   The points of the headstock and body are in great condition.  There is some minor discoloration/corrosion of the hardware.   The frets appear to have been dressed in the near past, because they show no string wear.  The finish was checked with a black light and is definitely the original finish with no previous repairs (see pics).  The back of the neck and headstock are in very good shape, with maybe a minor dings or small mark.   All of the electronics are original and operate properly.   One Pot Dates 1980, One 1978, and the other we cant see the code.  The neck is straight and the truss rod operates properly.  There is some light scratching on the back that I would not classify as rash (see pics).   Everything is correct without changes, and the serial number is listed below for your review.

Although, I think the set up is fine, everyone has their own preferences.  If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility and cost to have it set up to your liking..  The neck is straight and the truss rod operates as it should.

The Original Guild Hard Case is in really good shape overall.  There will be some scuffs and marks here and there from being moved around over the years, but is very respectable.  All latches and hinges operate the way that they should.  There is an area on the back where there is some faded writing (pictured).   The guitar will be properly packaged in this case for a safe delivery.

Everything operates as it should, and has never had, nor does it have any breaks, or repairs unless noted above.

Make sure you view all of the pics, and ask questions if you have any concerns before buying.
