Palatino 3/4 Size Upright Bass

These basses are demos or returns. They have all been gone through, checked for structural or sonic issues, set up to factory specs, and all play great. All the basses have various finish irregularities from play, handling and repairs; including scratches, chips, nicks, dings, visible grain lines or visible repair seams. The bass shown in the photo is a sample. We don't photograph each bass since it is our number 1 concern to ship the basses that are most playable at shipping time rather than the bass specifically shown. Sometimes we plane fingerboards to achieve proper scoop. In those cases the bass will play great, however the original grain of the fingerboard wood will show as we do not re-dye the fingerboard.

It features a crack-resistant spruce top with a gracefully designed, arched maple back. The neck is hand carved from solid maple for a great fit. The fingerboard and tailpiece are made from ebonized woods, and comes with German-quality, Tyrolean tuners.
