Ibanez Japan Destroyer Limited Edition DT420 2002 Black Pearl

Made in Japan 2002 Limited Edition Black Pearl Ibanez Destroyer DT420 in excellent condition with Hardshell case. Amazing condition as the frets show zero signs of wear and only slight tarnish on the gold hardware. There are only a few small marks in the clear coat on the rear of the guitar. The front of the guitar has a small ding that is too small to see in the photo's (last photo has the ding circled) Neck is straight everything works properly. The color is called Black Pearl. I would describe it as a Black with Gold Metallic. Super sharp looking guitar that plays and sounds great.

Ibanez Reissues the Destroyer (press release)

Ibanez is reissuing the a limited number of the Ibanez Destroyer, a guitar favorite of 80's Heavy Metal rock. "We brought out a scaled down version of the Destroyer, the DTX120, at the 2000 Summer NAMM Show," said Jon Romanowski, the National Sales Manager of Ibanez (as well as an unashamed Destroyer devote').

"That guitar has been a great seller, but it whetted everyone's appetite for the full monty, so to speak. So here it is, in the original size and specs and from the original factory where most of the first Destroyers were created. The good news is the price is unbelievable close to the original 80's price. The bad news is we don't have a whole lot of them and I don't know what the future will bring."
