Ensoniq ASR-10 OS v1.5B EPROM Firmware Upgrade SET

• This upgrade version 1.5B is the latest firmware update issued by Ensoniq for the ASR-10.
• Included will be 2 brand new EPROM chips to complete the upgrade.
• This upgrade is compatible with both the ASR-10/88 keyboard and ASR-10 rack versions.

Keep in mind that the ASR-10 itself is not for sale, only the EPROM upgrade chips will be supplied.

This version 1.5B upgrade is serves as a supplemental release, intended to iron out any remaining kinks affecting general stability, bugs and improve performance within the firmware code.

• Before purchasing, check which firmware version your ASR-10 is running:

-         Press command and then Env 1. The display will then show “NO COMMANDS ON PAGE”

-         Keep pressing the Left or Right arrow button until you see “SOFTWARE INFORMATION” on the display, then press Enter-Yes.

-         Press the UP arrow button until the display lists ROM=XXX. Now, the ROM version number running will be displayed. If you used a start up disk then the version of the disk will be displayed instead.

• Your ASR-10 rack very likely will have 1.5B installed so purchasing this ROM set will be otherwise unnecessary.
