DW MAG Snare Drum Throw Off Features:
- Horizontal tension adjustment and smooth, easy-to-adjust action
- Won't release without a slight tug when its handle is in the up position
- Throws the strainer completely off the head to avoid strainer buzz
- 1 ¼” from center of top hole to the center of the bottom hole
The DW MAG snare drum throw off is an absolute workhorse, with horizontal tension adjustment and smooth, easy-to-adjust action. And thanks to the magnet that's integrated into its body, this throw off won't release without a slight tug when its handle is in the up position. When the MAG throw off does release; however, it throws the strainer completely off the head to avoid strainer buzz. Many of the drummers here at Sweetwater swear by the reliability and adjustability of the MAG throw off.
