Hear the true, and open sound of your speaker!
This is my take on a very famous road crew's speaker cabinets, from the 70s.
I have added some aesthetic changes of my own, and added a speaker grill, instead of the plywood speaker cover that typically is included with other versions of these speakers.
Cabinets are constructed of 3/4" 13 Ply Baltic Birch Plywood, using Dado Joint construction, and are glued and screwed, and ready to be put to the test of the road, or used at home with your favorite amp, for your listening pleasure.
Speakers include a wiring kit for parallel speaker wiring, made up of Beldin 8473 twisted pair stereo wire, connected to a Switchcraft locking jack.
You have a few choices of trim wood for the front edge of the cabinet. (purple heart, maple, mahogany, walnut, etc) *based on availability
Also several choices of grill fabric color, for the speaker grill. (Silver/Turquoise,
Black/White/Silver, Oxblood, Black, Beige/Brown, or Burgundy/Beige)
Grill attaches to cabinet with Rare Earth magnets.
You also can pick the color of stain you would like for your cab, or go natural. All up to you. ( I use Varathane Water Based Stains from Home Depot, and I am willing to use whatever color you imagine your cab to be, but once its stained with what you choose, it is your cabinet, no returns based on not liking your color choice)
All cabinets have 3 coats of Nitro Satin lacquer sprayed on as well.
Price is for empty speaker cabinet only, and any pictures of loaded cabinets are for example purposes.
Speakers range in price a great deal, and I feel like that is up to each player, the investment they want to make into their sound.
I will load your cabinet for you, for the price of the speakers, the additional postage, and a fee of $15 per speaker. It really is super easy to do yourself though.
All speakers are custom order, and there is generally a 4 to 6 week wait time, to receive your cabinet. Maybe quicker if I have one in stock.
I will go over trim wood, grill, and stain options as we process your order.
Shipping starts around $75 and is determined by your location. The buyer is responsible for shipping, packing, and insurance cost of speaker. I only charge you what I am charged, nothing extra.
