This is like a high end custom shop guitar and the tone is as good as it gets no matter how much you spend. On sale this weekend and you will not be disappointed if you buy this guitar but well be blown away with how much guitar you get for this kind of money and not sales bs. I just lowered price $250 bucks and this is so much guitar and not sales bs and this guitar could embarrass most guitars even super expensive ones. and it has an aged mature tone from old wood with those piano like overtones and vibrato overtones with magic balance and tone as good as it gets and this guitar well totally inspire your playing and writing. It is way beyond even guitars for thousands and this is an opportunity to get a mature and rare guitar with a ton of vintage mojo and it has a lot of mountain magic in it. You could invest $3800 in a newer made in Japan Yamaha or a Martin or other high guitar but it well not sound as good as this older custom shop like guitar........not even close and not sales bs. I am an expert packer and it comes with the hardcase. so it well get to you safely. This guitar even has a passive pickup which sounds to my ear like an older Baggs pickup I used to have in some guitars as so natural sounding. I used to go to Baggs place in Santa Monica years ago before he made it big and he worked on my guitars and we had some grat talks and such a smart and cool guy. I have only had two of these the last 12 years and this is off the chart with vintage all solid wood tone, orchestral balance, musical piano like overtones, vibrato overtones,warmth with clarity and crystalline air, bloom and reminds me of two pre-war Martins I sold about a year ago but to my ear this guitar has a more orchestral full range with more piano like overtones and bloom. It has a few dings but looks great and was well cared for and has a ding on the back of the neck and I think a couple on the top and some marks on the top of headstock but this guitar is beautiful and the way the top has aged to a vintage golden deep natural color is hard to capture on picture but live looks really sweet. It plays great as as and is just dreamy. This came from a collector who I have bought several guitars from but he almost changed his mind on selling me this one and you could spend a ton more money and still not get this much.The silking patterns on the top with the super fine lines that go across the solid top are the kind that age the best. I just noticed a few marks on the top of the headstock but this guitar is really in a class by itself. I cannot say enough about this guitar and a great one like this is very hard to find so if you like it grab it while you can as you well have a guitar that sounds like you spent big money and the way the top has aged with the golden vintage color is art. I cannot say exactly but the Japanese are known for collecting wood and have been for a long time so this could be very old wood.
This guitar sounds amazing. If you live in Hawaii, PR, Alaska or anywhere where the shipping is more you will need to chip in a bit more.This guitar is one worth grabbing and very hard for me not to just keep it.I just hope I get to record with it a bit before it sells.This guitar can push around most high end guitars and show them what real tone is....... not kidding or selling. This guitar is as good as it gets and neck is very very comfortable and my wife said this is the best sounding guitar I have had in over 5 years and she is a great player and songwriter.
