This is a nice high quality loop controller with adjustable clean boost and slingshot remote control output, drag control, and a tuner output. It's easy to use and works well.
The loop switches Control 2 loops with the ability to select either loop or both loops simultaneously.
The slingshot remote can be used to trigger an amp channel change, or to switch a cabbone speaker switch to switch between cabinets. OR it can perform any other latched or pulse switching on the tip or ring signal of your cable. It can be tied to any of the 3 footswitches, to occur with turning on/off either loop or the boost. Very cool. Very useful.
There is a clean boost function that is very useful for solos. The level is adjustable with the gain control on the back panel. You can boost straight clean, or post loop 1, post loop 2 or post both loops.
Separate Tuner output jack lets you keep the tuner out of the loop, helping purify your tone.
Drag control lets you optimize impedance for the specific guitar pickups and pedalboard you are using to pefect your signal quality. It is adjusted on the back panel.
The item is in "very good" condition, defined as "having cosmetic imperfections but are still in great condition overall. There may be some scratches, finish dings or buckle rash, but nothing that affects the playability or function of the gear."
Power supply is *NOT* included but can be purchased online for between $7 and $22 from various sellers on ebay and reverb, directly from radial engineering or from Musician's Friend or other online retailers. The Radial branded one (Radial R15DC-UNIVERSAL switching power supply) comes with multiple adaptors to connect to outlets in the USA, Europe, the United Kingdom, and Australia. It supplies 15V DC at 400mA with a center-pin positive barrel connection and can be used with any power grid where the mains voltage range is 100-240V, 50-60Hz. You can also run it from an 18V power supply according to Radial Engineering, but it may shorten the service life of the unit in theory. There are also power supply bricks that provide a 15A output now. For example the CIOKS DC7 or DC10, or the Caline Power supply. My recommendation is search ebay on "15VDC 400ma DC power supply for Radial Engineering tonebone" and you'll see several options that will work just fine and are inexpensive.
Photos are of the actual unit. I included photos with the LEDs on and off, so you can see it powers up fine.
Buy with confidence, I have 100% positive feedback on Reverb and e-bay, and I pack well and ship fast.
