Iida Custom Made 4 String Banjo (Pre-Owned) (Glen Quan Private Collection).
Recently re-headed, cleaned up and set up by our in house banjo teacher/repair tech.
Believed to be a 1976 Iida Banjo, distributed in the USA by the Kaman Corporation.
Since the 1950's, Iida Gakki was a manufacturer based in Nagoya, Japan and made instruments for a variety of manufacturers such as Ibanez, etc. (They still make instruments, but are now located in South Korea).
Includes 19 hole Mastertone Ring... no cheaping out here! Great tone well made.

Glen Quan, a legend in the Bay Area music scene and an integral part of its development in the early 60’s-80’s, was a player, collector and innovator for his entire life. Glen passed away in 2018, and we are proud to bring Glen and his estate home to Bananas at Large.
