1973 Gretsch Tennessean w/ Bigsby - All Original Semi-Hollowbody - NEAR MINT

This is a near-mint, all original Gretsch semi-hollowbody electric with a Bigsby vibrato/tremolo bar.  Model 6119, from the extensive line of "Chet Atkins" guitars designed with the influence and input of Chet Atkins.  Made in Booneville, AR, USA. 

The playability is stellar, as is the tone.  See all the details below. 

Two great features: In 1970, Gretsch began making Tennesseans with true "F-holes" vs. the painted-on versions.  And in 1972, began using the Adjustamatic bridge, allowing laser-accurate intonation. 

FEATURES AND CONDITION

• PICKUP/ELECTRONICS: Amazing Gretsch pickups.  All switches, pots and the input jack work flawlessly.  I will provide a document that explains the somewhat mysterious function of the Gretsch pickup switches!
  
• NECK / PLAYABILITY: Medium thickness neck, feels great in your hand.  Neck very straight, with functioning truss rod.  Frets in excellent condition, very little wear.  Action is excellent, with no fret-outs in any position.    
  
• TUNERS: Original and excellent - hold tuning very well. 
• BRIDGE: Original Gretsch Adjustamatic bridge, allowing intonation of each string.  Works great with the whammy - no binding. 
  
• BIGSBY: Original Gretsch Bigsby vibrato/tremolo bar, nice and wavy, returns to pitch very well.   
  
• COSMETIC CONDITION: VERY GOOD to excellent.  Only a handful of minor dings.  Finish is generally very pretty, almost zero checking.  Chrome is very clean.  Pickguard excellent.  Original (and very cool) heavy strap buttons. 
  
• CASE: Original Gretsch case, made by Ess and Ess, in very good condition.  All latches work, a bit scuffy, in a ruggedly handsome way.  One cloth strap is partially separated.  Very Nice!
