The 5000S Sidekick is an upward striking pedal that's perfect for cocktail set ups or for adding a new kick sound to any drum kit. It's firmly supported by a 1/2" rod that conveniently slips into any DW TB12 floor tom bracket (10.5mm rod is also included for PDP tom brackets) and its unique rope drive feels natural and effortless. It boasts standard 5000 Series features such as a Delta ball bearing hinge, slotted stroke adjustment and 101 2 way beater. Add one to a 16" or 18" floor tom for an alternate wide open tone.
Features:
- DW's patented Delta Ball-Bearing Hinge
- The Rope Drive System that creates a smooth and direct relationship with the footboard while allowing maximum flexibility
- Includes standard 5000 features like Bearing Spring Rocker Assembly and 101 2-Way Beater
