Yamaha BB400 1981 Natural

Up for grabs: My 1981 Yamaha BB400. Back in the day this bass was known as the Fender “P” Killer. It had that great Fender “P” tone and then some at half the price. Fender aficionados will argue, but this bass sounds better than any “P” I’ve ever played. This is a players bass. Incredible feel and tone. Yes, this is a value at this price, but it is NOT a cheap instrument. This bass is all Pro. The usual little dings and scrapes typically found on the body of a 35-year-old instrument, but nothing that affects the play. Some pitting on the bridge, but everything functions perfectly. I’ve done my best to show everything in the pics. The wood and craftsmanship found in these older Yamahas is outstanding. This bass is solid as a rock. Ask questions if you need more info.
