For those of you who don't already know, Stephen has decided that he is no longer taking custom orders, nor is he going to be building most of his normal models with the exception of the Electric Archie and Streamline which he finds more gratifying to build. These will be build and sold on an as is basis. By limiting the number of guitars he is building he be able to devote more time to creating new designs.

The Andersen Model 17 is elegant in it's simplicity. Crafted using less inlay and decoration than my premium instruments, Steve is able to build a guitar whose tone, playability, design and materials are still first class, while being sensitive to the final price. Body, neck, f-holes and peghead are bound in Rosewood. This one is a custom in that it features a floating humbucking pickup and has a special sunburst top and natural back and sides finish.
