Ampeg VL-503 Combo Amp

Vintage early 1990s Ampeg Lee Jackson VL-503 Combo amp with the rare footswitch. The amp was recently overhauled by the amazing Rob Chafe of RAC Music.

The amp was designed by Lee Jackson. It has three separate pre amps, switchable bias for 6550 (75watts) or El34 (50 watts) power tubes. Independent reverb for all three channels independently and a built in attenuator. You can switch pretty much everything with the five way footswitch and the back panel has plenty of options with switching fx loop, DI out etc.

The EV speaker was replaced with a Celestion G12T-75. It is currently powered by EL34s. This thing is a heavy beast. Great clean tone. The only cosmetic defect is some minor tolex issues on the left front upper section of the cabinet (see the last two pictures for a detailed view). However, it's in amazing shape considering it's 23 years old.  I will remove the power AND preamp tubes for shipping if you desire.
