The Nordstrand Big Splits sound amazing in the Q6.
The Nords are punchier than Barts and warmer and more natural than EMGs.
- I had a Q6 with Barts. It sounded dead to my ears. I prefer the EMGs, but they're a little harsh in my opinion. The Nordstrand pups are perfect.
Every note rings perfectly. No dead spots. No issues. I don't even see a scratch on it.
It's passive: volume, volume, tone.
The 4th knob is just a placeholder for a stacked treble/bass pre if you wanted to add it.
INCLUDED: EMG soap bar pickups and the 2-band eq that came in the bass.
Comes with ebony ramp - see picture.
35" scale, 17mm string spacing.
I don't see any scuffs or dings on the bass.
Sounds incredible.
No truss rod. The neck is dead straight and super solid, as these are all known for.
Low action, no buzz. Magical.
