Looking for a big "wooly" sound that is unique? This is our Marshall 800 2204 Retube Kit with Big Bottle 6CA7's. It uses three ECC83S's with one being current balanced for the phase inverter in V3. Fat, warm and sweet!
The power tubes are a premium matched pair of the JJ Electronic Big Bottle 6CA7's. The JJ 6CA7's have the harmonic complexity of an EL34 in the upper mids and highs and the deep low end of a 6L6. It's as close to mixing an EL34 with a 6L6 in one bottle as you can get. These tubes have round and natural sounding highs with thick low-mids.
Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.
