Looking for fat mids and a little extra high end sparkle? This is our ECC803S V1 Option Retube Kit for the Marshall 800 2204. It contains a Long Plate JJ ECC803S for V1 and two ECC83S's with one being current balanced for the phase inverter in V3.
The power tubes are a premium matched pair of the JJ Electronic KT88's. The JJ KT88 is an amazing tube! They are extremely thick and rich sounding with no loss of high end, they're simply fat everywhere. They also are the most powerful of the JJ KT series tubes.
If your amp came with 6550's then these tubes are a drop in and bias. If your amp came with EL34's you may need to swap out the final bias resistor to get the bias in a usable range.
Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.
