Marshall 800 2204 Standard Option JJ Retube(TM) Kit with 6550's

Want the big sound of 6550's? This is our Standard Retube Kit for the Marshall 800 2204 with 6550's. The preamp section uses three ECC83S's with one current balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V3.

The power tubes are a premium matched pair of the JJ Electronic JJ 6550's. They are very warm with a great clean tone and the breakup is raw, crunchy, and gritty. If you want an Angus - AC/DC type tone then these tubes really deliver! They are simply a lot of fun to play.

If your amp came with 6550's then these tubes are a drop in and bias. If your amp came with EL34's you may need to swap out the final bias resistor to get the bias in a usable range.

Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.
