Rare, Silver Face combination unit.  You will be hard pressed to find another compact Integrated Amplifier with an output of 70 Vintage watts per channel into 8 Ω for under $350 and you're getting the Stereo SG-540 Equalizer as well!  

One owner, bought both New in 1983, Pioneer SA-940 Silver Face, green display lights, 70 Vintage watts per channel into 8Ω Integrated Amplifier and Pioneer SG-540 Stereo Graphic Equalizer with Green display lamps.  This Pioneer Integrated Amplifier is a Monster Power, Stereo Amplifier with Pure, Focused Pioneer Power and the Sound that made Pioneer famous.

In 1983, this Pioneer Integrated Amp was Rated at 70 watts per channel Into 8 Ω. However, in the past, audio technicians always underrated the output wattage of these amplifiers. This Pioneer performs closer to 85 watts per channel.  Cosmetically Excellent, I would almost say Mint but I don't want to over grade it, Functionally Mint, No issues!  Recently Cleaned and Serviced! Comes with the Pioneer Stereo Equalizer, SG-540, also, Excellent cosmetically, I would even say almost Mint and Functionally Mint, No issues! 
Amazing Sound! No Scratchy pots, knobs, sliders or toggles. No background Noise, No Hum! Ships from San Marcos, CA. Packed safely and securely. If bought and paid for Monday through Wednesday, I will ship no later than the following Monday.  If bought and paid for Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, I will ship out no later than the following Friday!  Because I ALWAYS use the Reverb Protection Plan when shipping to protect both you and me, I typically lose money on shipping. In addition, I don't ship quickly or cheaply. Why sloppily throw vintage gear in Excellent condition into a box or poorly wrap it so it gets damaged in transit? I DO NOT DO THAT! All my items are custom packed and shipped AFTER they are purchased! I do not have any of the over 500 vintage items my family owns, Pre-boxed and ready for shipment!  

I am meticulous with my packaging and I agonize over choosing the proper box and materials that are ideal for each unit that is sold. Boxes, especially ones that are the correct dimensions for the item at hand, are not always easy to come by. I use high quality electronics boxes especially made for shipping vintage items of this type and if one box in the proper size is unavailable, I use TWO corrugated cardboard boxes, putting one box with the unit in it INSIDE another larger box with even more packing material to fully protect the unit, and that, especially, can be costly.

So, the Price is Firm! However, the price is Negotiable if you bundle this Amplifier and Equalizer with any other gear like a turntable that I also have listed or if you buy any 2 or more other of my Reverb items!
