While Schecter Guitar Research is mostly known for their imports, Schecter USA Custom Shop is well known for putting out stellar guitars for many years. The Masterworks series are 100% hand built by the 2 master Luthiers, Tetsu Yuyama and Shigeki Aoshima.
This guitar was spec’d and built for me in 2018. It’s the single most best feeling and playing guitar I have ever touched in my life. That’s no joke. It is so good, I ordered a 2nd Masterworks right away. Sadly my music career is ending due to permanent injury and everything must go. Attached in the photos is the entire 3 page spec sheet. The only wear on this guitar is the top of single coil center bobbin having some pick wear on it from my strumming. This guitar has never left my smoke and animal free home studio. It deserves more than sitting in its Schecter hard case the rest of it’s life.
This flamed Koa top is one of best you’ll ever see. The swamp ash body has figuring like a dream. And the one piece Pau Ferro natural finished neck and fretboard are to die for. The stainless steel frets are a Masterwork of their own. The Schecter / Gotoh 510 trem is perfect for someone who’s in between a trem and a hard tail guitar. Remove the trem arm, and you’d never know it was a trem. Armed with custom Koa Bobbin topped Schecter USA Pasadena Plus bridge, Pasadena VS1 single middle and Pasadena Neck pickups, the 5 way blade switch and push / pull tone knob give you endless tones.
