DESCRIPTION -This listing is for a one-of-a-kind A&M Mastering Studios Custom 2-Band Stereo Parametric Equalizer EQ with Altec knobs and housed in what appears to be a vintage UREI 1176 chassis!
These EQ's were custom built in-house by engineers at the famed Los Angeles A&M recording studios and were then used for a number of years at Marcussen Mastering for whom we are now selling them for. This is the only 2-band A&M EQ known to be in existence.
When received this EQ did not include a power supply, so we had Ken Hirsch of Orphan Audio build a power supply and cable for this EQ and it works great!
ACCESSORIES - Includes brand-new toroidal power supply, multi-pin cable and IEC power cord.
PHYSICAL CONDITION - Very Good - Front-panel and its control knobs are in spectacular condition and look barely handled, if at all. Overall condition is very good!
WORKING CONDITION - Excellent - Both channels' control knobs are in perfect operation, both the boost/cut and frequency selector control switches. Overall working condition is excellent.
