Successor to the legendary RCF L18P300, L18P400 subwoofer speaker features incredibly linear frequency response characteristics and extreme high power handling while generating the lowest harmonic distortion of any comparable 18" transducer within its application range.
The L18P400 uses a fiber-loaded cone assembly along with a high excursion triple roll, constant geometry surround.
A fully optimized T-pole design generates the minimum amount of flux modulation. The T-pole also features RCF Precision's spaced gap demodulation technology, which progressively brakes the voice coil, thereby providing a much smoother transition for the moving mass as it reaches its maximum excursion limits.
Also included is a forced air venting system for reduced power compression. Ideal for high quality professional bass reflex and bass-horn systems, the L18P400 is a popular replacement driver for EAW, Yorkville, Sonic, Martin Audio, and other subwoofer speaker systems.
