Our guitars have names. This one is Stacey. This guitar is made of 150 year old sugar pine body, with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. The body is based on a ’52 vintage style Tele cut, true to the original design and formula. It is a 2 piece body with grain matched in the center of the instrument. Stacey has a black, single ply bakelite pickguard, staying with the original formula. The Vaughn Skow "Vaughn’s Vintage Velvet" pickups are cloth-wire shielded. The hardware is nickel plated, head to toe. Finish-wise, the body has several coats of hand rubbed Osmo Oil for a lovely and durable satin finish. The neck is finished with nitrocellulose lacquer. Tuners are original pinstriped Kluson. Everything about Stacey was fabricated in Nashville, with the exception of the Kluson tuners, fret wire, strings, and mother of pearl dots. The metal parts are made by a Nashville parts manufacturer. The body, neck, and fretboard were made and finished in our 20+ year old manufacturing facility in Nashville, Tennessee. Stacey is an American Classic.
