Own a piece of history with one of the last Rockman Products that rolled off the line before Tom sold out to Dunlop. The amp has the ultimatum distortion built in. It also has the best clean sound I've ever heard. It's the heaviest and loudest 50 watt amp anywhere.This amp rocks. At the volume set at 5 its plenty loud. On the back of the amp it has a effect loop send and return jacks as well as a external jack. This amp has the original 12" Celestion speaker. It a solid state took to perfection. Only Rockman and Tom Scholz knew how to do this. Compared to its tube competitors it rocks right beside them. I am a guitarist and believe me it kicks like a tube. The amp has a few scuffs here and there. Few small indents on front bottom on amp but looks like just the covering and might not have dented through to wood..But nothing very noticeable. Grill cloth looks excellent but it you look really close there are a few strands of fiber loose in different places. Over the years I have seen empty cabs and was wondering why or who would do this. Then it hit me. They made A12-50 rackmounts out of them. That might have been next in production. Remember the Rockman X100 amp then the XPR. They are the same amp but one is a 100 watt amp with speakers and the XPR is a rack mount without speakers. It really has the best clean sound.The distortion is kind of muggy to me. But it's preference. But this amp is a little jewel and should be worth a lot of money one day. Shipping is higher do to the weight. I will personally see that this amp is package right with insurance to cost. It's so heavy that it can't be throw around during shipping. But that's a good thing.
