Guys, if you know Valeton, you would probably know our flagship Dapper, which is a Fly Rig type of multi effects pedal. It covers pretty much everything about classic rock in the 70s, & 80s. But what about the genres out of that era? Here comes the Dapper Indie. PLEASE don't let the name fool you. It does way more than just indie rock. Grunge, post-rock, shoegazing, retro, stoner, alternative, psychedelic, sludge, doom... the list goes on and on. It has the entire tone rig of Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins in a bar unit.
The Power Core
Like 99% of rigs starting with the drive pedals, Dapper Indie starts the signal chain with a "RAT" style vintage-voicing distortion. Dynamic, powerful, beautifully saturated. What comes after "RAT" is the "MUFF". It's a fuzz. And if you see the word "MUFF", I assume you know what it sounds like, right? But we made a little adjustment to it by adding a little bit more mids, making it way more present in a band mix.
The Psychedelic Stuff
Dapper Indie comes with 3 modulations: CHORUS, PHASER, & TREMOLO; 3 delays: ANALOG, TAPE, & REVERSE; 3 reverbs: ROOM, HALL, & PLATE. The controls of these effects are really intuitive. We encourage you to be more original and creative. Use your imagination. The combination of these effects can be really experimental, and way out of your expectation. Seriously, sky is the limit.
The Bonus Features
Dapper Indie comes with a built-in tuner. You don't need to clip those Snarks on the headstocks of your guitar. Let's face it. They make your guitars look funny. Meanwhile, you can totally tap-tempo the time parameters of all the modulations and delays on board. Just hold those buttons to enter the Tap Tempo mode (The LED knobs will flash in the tap tempo mode).
