Ensoniq SQ-80 OS v1.8 EPROM Firmware Upgrade SET [with Hidden Waves enabled]

• This version 1.8 is the latest firmware update issued by Ensoniq for the SQ-80.
• Included will be 2 brand new ATMEL EPROM chips to complete the upgrade.

Please note: The SQ-80 is not for sale, only the EPROM upgrade chips will be supplied.

• The “hidden waves” firmware revisions are a modification made to the stock 1.8 firmware to enable additional hidden waveforms. You will notice WAV075 to WAV255 are now enabled.
• In my opinion, they are somewhat glitchy and circuit bent sounding, which make for interesting and creative sounds.
• The KPC / Keyboard Processor Circuitry EPROM is not included in this listing. Most SQ-80’s tend to already have them installed. On the off chance that you do not have KPC ROM 1.50 installed, send me a message and I’ll help you out.
