Yamaha FG-150 - 1970's - Made in Japan 🇯🇵 ! The Elliot Smith Guitar!

This guitar sings like a bird! Plays and sounds beautifully, I would bring this guitar into any studio. Articulate and responsive when fingerpicked, loud and shimmering when played with a pick. Best of both worlds. I love the body size, it has all the tone and volume of a larger guitar in a size that’s easier and more comfortable to get around. This body shape is famous for shining in the studio, it records without any bass-heaviness and has a way of sitting perfectly in the mix. Action is low and comfortable, original tuners are still holding it down, it’s an incredibly well built and sturdy guitar. It has a few scratches on the back, but nothing too crazy. Comes with the original chipboard case that has some good life left in it. The old Yamahas are built to last!
