Roland R-8 OS v2.02 EPROM Firmware Upgrade KIT

• Firmware OS v2.02 the latest operating system issued by Roland for the R-8.
• Included will be 1 new EPROM chip to complete the upgrade.

The R-8 unit itself is not for sale,only the EPROM upgrade chip will be supplied.

• Please note – This R-8 upgrade is not compatible with any of the other R-8 series units. Send me a message if you need help with the R-8 MK2 or the R-8M, thanks.
• ROM upgrade firmware 2.02 is said to resolve firmware issues and add new additions such as:
• Fixed – MIDI buffer issue when the R-8 is synced to the MC-500 as master. This was caused when too much MIDI information was transmitted to an external sequencer such as the MC-500.
• Fixed – Any song more than 65536 clock cycles (so 683 measures at 4/4) would cause the R-8 to glitch out and jump to a random point of the sequence.
